We decided to take off for a longer weekend and to drive down to Süd Tirol / Alto Adige (Italy) to visit our friend Lisa, in town Dobbiaco/Toblach. We stayed in the impressive, ancient family home owned by the family of Lisa, enjoyed her hospitability, and took a short sightseeing walk in the charming town of Dobbiaco. As the whole area is inhabited by Germans and Italians, both languages are used officially, and it was fun to hear  the mixed languages of the local people in the streets.
On the way back we drove in Gailtaal (Valley of Gail creek) and made a short stop in Wolfsberg.
