Nacionalni park Sjeverni Velebit u Bruxellesu je 8. listopada primio priznanje za Europsku destinaciju izvrsnosti - EDEN (European destination of excellence), a u povodu toga važna priznanja za razvoj hrvatskog turizma danas su na novinskoj konferenciji govorile direktorica senjske Turističke zajednice Marijana Biondić i stručna savjetnica za promociju Nacionalnog parka Sjeverni Velebit Irena Glavičić.	North Velebit National Park in Brussels on 8 October received the award of the European destination of excellence - EDEN , and for the occasion of this important recognition for the development of Croatian tourism, which was announced today at a news conference by Marijan Biondić, the director of Senj Tourist Board and by Irena Glavičić, advisor for the promotion of the National Park Northern Velebit.	Az Észak-Velebit Namzeti Park Brüsszelben október 8-án megkapta az európai kiváló turista célpont elismerést - EDEN (European destination of excellence), és a horvát turizmus fejlesztés e jelentős elismerésének alkalmából ma sajtókonferenciát tartottak, amelyen ezt a hírt bejelentette Marijan Biondić, a Senji Tourizmus Egyesület igazgatója ésy Irena Glavičić, az Észak-Velebit Nemzeti Park promóciós tanácsadója.

Nagradu je 22 europskim turističkim odredištima i zaštićenim područjima uručio europski povjerenik za regionalnu politiku Pawel Samecki na svečanosti 8. listopada u Square Brussels Meeting Centru, rečeno je na konferenciji za novinare.	22 European tourist destinations and protected areas were awarded by Pawel Samecki, European Commissioner for Regional Policy on the ceremony of 8th October in the Square Brussels Meeting Center, was announced in the news conference.	22 európai turista célpont és természetvédelmi terület kapta meg ezt a kitüntetést Pawel Sameckitől a Területi Politika Európai Biztosától az október 8-i ünnepségen, a Square Brussels Meeting Centerben, jelentették be a sajtókonferencián.
Izbor za europska odredišta izvrsnosti počeo je 2005. kao pokusni projekt u zemljama članicama EU-a. Hrvatska je mogla sudjelovati, ali bez prava na novčanu potporu 2006./2007. kad je Sveti Martin na Muri proglašen turističkim odredištem izvrsnosti na ruralnom području. U tome izboru s temom nematerijalna kulturna baština 2007./2008. priznanje je dobio Đurđevac za manifestaciju 'Picokijada'.	Selection of the european excellent destinations started in 2005, as an experimental project in the member states of the EU. Croatia could participate in it, but without the right for financial support in 2006/2007, when Sveti Martin na Muri was declared as a tourist destination of excellence in rural areas. In this selection an intangible cultural inheritence in 2007/2008 was awarded, the town of Đurđevac for the "Picokijada" celebrations.	A kiváló európai turista célpontok kiválasztása 2005-ben kezdődött kísérleti projektként az EU tagállamaiban. Horvátország részt vehetett ebben, de nem volt joga pénzügyi támogatásra 2006/2007-ben, amikor Sveti Martin na Muri megkapta a kiváló turista célpont elismerést vidéki területen. A kiválasztásban a szellemi kulturális örökség miatt kapta meg a díjat 2007/2008-ban Đurđevac városka, a "Picokijada" ünnepségek miatt.
	Klara's comment: In the small North-Croatian town of Đurđevac in the last week of June, in each year the "Picokijada" or Picok Legend historical spectacle. "Picok" is the local name for cock. When the Turks came to occupy the town, the wise local people throw out the last remained cock to the enemy. The Turkish troops were convineced that the inhabitants still have enough food, and the Turkish army left the place.	Klári megjegyzése: Az észak-horvát Đurđevac városkában minden év június utolsó hetében megrendezik a "Picokijada", a Picoki Legenda történelmi játékot. A ’picok’ a kakas helyi elnevezése. Mikor a török hadsereg el akarta foglalni a várost a bölcs lakosok kidobták az utolsó kakast az ellenségre. Az egész török hadsereg, meggyőződve, hogy a városlakóknak még rengeteg élelmük maradt, elmenekült a területről.

U Hrvatskoj projekt EDEN provodi Hrvatska turistička zajednica sa sustavom turističkih zajednica po akcijskom planu potvrđenu od Europske komisije. Nacionalni park Sjeverni Velebit pobjednik je trećega hrvatskog izbora za europsko odredište izvrsnosti jer je tema ove godine bila "Turizam i zaštićena područja", istaknula je Biondić.	In Croatia EDEN Project is implemented by the Croatian Tourist Board with the system of the tourist board, based on the action plan confirmed by the European Commission. National Park Northern Velebit is the winner of three Croatian options for the "European destination of excellence" since the theme in this year was "Tourism and protected areas," said Biondić.	Horvátországban az EDEN projektet a Horvát Turista Egyesület valósítja meg a turista egyesület rendszerével, egy akcióterv alapján, amelyet az Európai Bizottság hagy jóvá. Az Észek-Velebiti Nemzeti Park lett három horvát pályázó közül a "Kiváló európai turista célpont" nyertese, mivel ebben az évben a "Turizmus és természetvédelmi területek" volt a téma.
Ove godine dodjela nagrada i priznanja, ali i godišnji sastanak EDEN-ove mreže odredišta organiziran je u sklopu obilježavanja Europskog dana turizma i Europskoga turističkog foruma u Bruxellesu od 7. do 9. listopada. Predstavljen je Nacionalni park Sjeverni Velebit, grad Senj i čitava Hrvatska. Predstavnici HTZ-a, senjske turističke zajednice i toga nacionalnog parka sudjelovali su na radionicama koje bi nam, istaknuto je, trebale pomoći u brendiranju i promicanju EDEN-ovih odredišta, ali i razvoju pokazatelja koji će odredišnim poslovodstvima pomoći da prate održivost razvoja turizma.	In this year the handover of awards and prizes, and also the annual meeting of EDENdestinations network was organized within the European days of tourism and European touristic forum in Brussels from 7 to 9 October. Northern Velebit National Park, the town of Senj and whole of Croatia were presented, Participants of the Croatian Tourism Board, the tourism board of Senj, and of the national park participated on the workshop, and as was emphesized, would need help in branding and promoting the EDEN destinations, and also for development indicators which will help for the destination management to follow the sustainabilty of tourism development.	Ebben az évben a díjátadás, valamint az EDEN turistacélpontok hálózatának éves találkozója az Európai turizmus napjai rendezvényen belül és az Európai turisztikai fórummal együtt került megrendezésre Brüsszelben, október 7 és 9 között. Bemutatták az Észak-Velebiti Nemzeto Parkot, Senj városát és egész Horvátországot. A Horvát Turista Egyesületének, Senj Tuirsztikai Egyesületének és a nemzeti parknak a képviselői egy munkaértekezleten vettek részt, és hangsúlyozták, hogy segítségre lenne szükség az EDEN turisztikai célpontok hírnevesítésére és reklámozására, és fejlődési mutatókra is, amely segítene a vezetőségnek, hogy a turizmus fenntarthatóságát figyeljék.
Nacionalni Park Sjeverni Velebit potpisao je i Bruxellesku deklaraciju "Europska mreža destinacija izvrsnosti za održivi turizam". Tako se obvezao na razmjenu podataka i iskustava na web portalu Europske komisije, na sudjelovanje na godišnjim radionicama te na provedbu akcija i zaključaka mreže, stalnu izmjenu informacija i znanja vezanih uz turističke razvojne programe održiva razvoju, ali i na primjenu dobre prakse ostalih odredišta.	Northern Velebit National Park signed a declaration of Bruxelles "European Network of Excellence destination for sustainable tourism". This is assuring the information and experience exchange on the webportal of the European Commission, and the participation on the annual workshops for the implementation of actions and conclusions, the continuos exchange of information and the knowledge related to the sustainable development of tourism, and also to use the best practices in other areas.	Az Észak-Velebit Nemzeti Park aláírt egy brüsszeli deklarációt: "Európai kiváló turista célpontok a turizmus fenntartásáért". Ez lehetővé teszi az információ- és tapasztalatcserét az Európai Bizottság webportálján, és az éves munkaértekezleten való részvételt a tennivalók megvalósításra és következtetésekre, a folyamatos információcserére és a turizmus fenntartására vonatkozó ismeretekre, valamint a bevett gyakorlat alkalmazására más helyeken.
U opisu Nacionalnog parka Sjeverni Velebit u "The Parliament Magazine" spominju se, među ostalim, "planine s očaravajućim šumama koje se prostiru do obalnog područja između srednje Europe i mediteranskih područja, sa specifičnom mikroklimom, bogatstvom živog svijeta, izvanrednim prirodnim ljepotama, netaknutom divljinom..."	The description of the North Velebit National Park in "The Parliament Magazine" is mentioning, among others, the magnificent mountain forests that stretch to the coastal area between Central Europe and the Mediterranean, the specific microclimate, the abundance of wildlife, the outstanding natural beauty, the untouched wilderness ... "	A Parlamanti Magazinban az Észak-Velebiti Nemzeti Park leírása említi többek között "a fenséges erdőkkel borított hegyeket, amelyek a partvidéken húzódnak végig Közép-Európa és a Mediterrán között, a különleges mikroklímát, a gazdag vadvilágot, a kiemelkedő természeti szépségeket, az érintetlen vadont .... "
